Watchbands24 Encyclopedia/Glossary - generate more knowledge!

Watchbands24 has been a specialist for watch bands for more than 10 years now. We would like to use our many years of experience with watch bands and watches to build up an extensive encyclopedia/glossary for you who are interested about watches and the bands. We want to inspire you with essential information around the watch band and around the clock. It deals with relevant topics such as the explanations of the more than 30 different types of leather used in our watch straps. Crocodile embossing or cowhide watch bands are still the simple types of leather. But do you know anything about the Yak leather? Special types of leather also require special explanations

In addition, we would like to provide you with information on the specifications of a watch strap. Our Watchbands24 encyclopedia/glossary contains various of useful information on the processing of a watch strap, from the lug width to the width of the buckle, from the type of fastening clasp to the type of buckle. Our experience has also shown that many watch wearers are unable to read the numbers and references on the inner lining of the watch band. The explanation can be found in our encyclopedia/glossary.

You do not need to attend any training to assemble a watch strap. You will find relevant information on spring bars and clasps in our Watchbands24 Glossary as well as the explanation of changing watch bracelets, and in some cases with video instructions.

New in our Watchbands24 encyclopedia/glossary is also an explanation of the reference numbers of different watch brands, in order to quickly and effectively find your way around our shop. We learn from your questions every day and try to map the necessary knowledge here.

How do I get to my searched topic?

All colored letters in the upper line contain information. The initial letter of the keyword is the reference for which letter the information is stored. Take the search for lug width as an example. The word begins with an "L" and the keyword with information is stored under "L".
Please do not forget this on a growing platform. Every week more content is added. In addition, we live from your inquiries and questions in order to further develop the glossary.
We hope you enjoy browsing through them.
